| Aubrey Henry | Regarding Mr. McFarland's review: During the initial conversation, the customer did say he wanted a call on an estimate of repair. He also indicated he would be OK with a repair under half of the value of the radio. He was informed of our 20 diagnostic fee. The radio had very odd symptoms, so the diagnosis was time consuming. We wanted to give an accurate cost, so the radio was basically repaired when we were sure of the problem loose solder connections on PC board. The customer was called with the repair amount not as an estimate. He informed us that was more than he had in mind and was not happy about no quote call. We told him we would undo the repair and return the radio in it's original state of disrepair. The customer was NOT charged the 20 fee before or after the repair request. This transaction had many miscommunications and misunderstandings on both parties parts. Mr. McFarland's concerns have been noted. |
