Nancy Barke | My LG convection oven stopped working properly and I called Sears Appliance Service because I had extended warranties on other appliances but NOT this stove of course. My appliances are all LG and are less than 2 years old. The tech came on time and spent a lot of time trouble shooting the problem and of course, parts had to be ordered. The parts came in several shipments and the tech very diligently kept checking back with me to check on the status of the deliveries. He came back and installed all of the parts and even swept the area under the stove. He patiently waited while I cleaned the sides of the stove before pushing it back in place. He informed me about the Sears Home Warranty Service Plan, which covers every appliance in the house including the electrical and heating system, water heater, air conditioning and plumbing. It even covers the jetted bathtub. It's a good deal and gives me peace of mind. I have always bought my appliances at Sears for 50 years and also always used the repair service and I can't say enough good things about it. I was very sad to hear that Sears stores are closing but at least the repair service seems to be going strong. Thank you Sears! |

Alma Bair | This service went very well. The technician although late without much notice was very helpful and thorough. The online scheduling was no help- it took 6 weeks to resolve a scheduling glitch. So 5 stars for the TECH and 2 stars for the logistics. |

Weezie Derengow | Had a warranty on a washing machine and when it broke I had the worst customer experience of my life. When the customer service department calls you to schedule to come fix the item they call from an unknown number. You can't contact them if there's a problem. The repair man cancelled three times on three weeks and still hasn't come out. It's been 3 months! They still haven't come to my home to fix the washing machine. They mailed me the part that was likely to be the problem so that when the repair man was out here it would be ready for him to install. I had to look on YouTube to figure out how to change out the part myself and luckily it worked. Haven't heard from them at all since the last cancellation. One time I got connected to the scheduling department and asked to speak with a manager. The employee rudely demanded to know why I wanted to speak with a manager when she wouldn't help me and then put me on hold for half an hour to disconnect the call. |
