I found the service people to be excellent. However, I cannot say the same for the parts and accounting dept. It took 30 days to get the part after the service people ordered it. The total cost to replace the oven element was 407.41. I found that the cost for the part was 27.00 on Amazon and Sears service charge 150.00 for the same part. The rest of the 407.41 was for service call. It took to calls to complete the service. This would indicate the each service call cost 128.70. Experience is the best teacher. Do me once shame on you. Do me twice shame on me. Next time I think I will use Home Advisor.

Great service. They really know how to work with my warranty company. American home shield when others were afraid to ask for the repairs they were not so a 100 on these sears people

The repair service was good for the Kenmore Elite we purchased less than 3 years ago. The condenser went out this year, the ice maker went out last year. Sears charges 200 an hour for labor. So the total cost to repair the refrigerator was over 400 for repair that took less than 2 hours. The condenser was still under warranty, so we weren't charged for that. Make sure to ask who makes your refrigerator, if it's American-made, which I thought Kenmore was, it is much cheaper to repair. Kenmore Elite is made by LG. I thought it was American-made because I thought Sears products Whirlpool, Kenmore, etc were just that. My mistake, I will ask those questions next time. Buyer beware.
