| e2e | This shop is a community treasure. Went in with a commercial coffee maker 25+ years old. The power switch had gone out - five connections coming off of it - and I had obtained an updated CHANGED replacement switch with fewer connectors whose connections I didn't understand and to be honest, I am the type of person who tends to break things I set out to repair. The owner installed the new switch quickly and efficiently, let me watch the repair, tested all the connections to make sure everything worked, answered my questions, and charged me 5 for the job! It couldn't have been a better experience. Highly recommend. |
| Bud Vaughn | HORRIBLE. Took in an antique brass lamp that had old wiring for a two way lamp to be repaired. Upper and lower switches. When I went back the following day Huey wired it as a one switch lower bulb only. When I asked why he didn't wire the upper switch, he told me "you didn't ask for that" I should not need to explain the wiring, because it existed. If his expertise went beyond the ability to do simple wiring, he would have recognized that. Instead of repairing an existing wiring pattern, he took it upon himself to wire it the way he wanted to. If you make the mistake of using this man make sure you take a diagram of what you want. PS: He charged 40+ to wire one socket. Hit or Miss, I MISSED. Good Luck if you choose this business. |
