| R Talavera | Buyer beware! Tried selling my wife 800 worth of brakes when it only needed pads. Scared her claiming 'metal to metal.' To me metal to metal is down to the rivets on the pads and the corresponding groove on the rotor....uhmmmm duh? Some brake pads have metal tabs to indicate by a scraping sound that you should have your brakes looked at. Was close, but brakes were quiet. Rotors were clean. Would they have admit that and drop the price down? Tell me I need pads and if my rotors are bad show me. Have them show you the problem or get a second opinion. May have been the sales guy but shops like this make me mad. 2 stars for prior 'decent' service. Unless I just didn't realize I got ripped off! Makes me question it. |
