Appliance Repair by Beacon Appliance Repair and Service in Redding, California

My in-laws had an appointment to get their dryer checked because their dryer has not been drying properly. The technician, Wes Swarbrick, came out to check it out. He told my father-in-law that he was limited on time. First off, that is already telling us that he didn't care to do the job. He complained that their laundry space was too "small" to thoroughly check. Yes, the space is a bit tight, but it is manageable to get behind to look at it. Apparently, he didn't have the proper tools to do the job, and he said that they're not allowed to go onto the roof I understand for safety reasons, however, the dryer vent duct runs out and up through the roof in their house. So, isn't that still part of the technicians job description? Their dryer makes a slight noise, but the technician said, "I can't do anything about it unless the noise was too loud and your neighbors complained about it". Honestly, the worst service ever. I'd give it ZERO stars if it allowed me. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, especially with a technician with this type of an attitude! It shouldn't be "luck" to get a good technician. Especially since he refused to run diagnostic tests on it for them. That's just plain rude. My in-laws have had a previous problem with their washer and had an amazing technician that helped them from a different company. This technician claimed to have worked in this job industry for over 20 years and overall complained about the exhaust pipe not ventilating from the wall straight outside like most homes, but let's keep in mind that the majority of homeowners don't get to choose where those things are placed in their home nor how their homes are built.
