Anthony Paule | I found Dion at Diablo Stereo through his Craigslist ad. He assured me on the phone he would be able to fix my Pioneer integrated stereo amp so I took it in. The amp played but had a bad crackling noise. He reassured me when dropping it off it would be fixed. I left a 75 deposit for diagnosis which would go towards the repair. To make a long story short, after he'd had it for three months with many phone calls and excuses including the postal service, power outages, and my amp being a difficult case, he finally said it was "unrepairable". I picked up my amp and Dion would not return the 75 saying he had "too much time into it". Since it was for a diagnosis he was unable to make, I feel he owes me a refund. I took the amp to another tech and he fixed it within 24 hours. He said it was a simple amp to work on, and the problem was nothing exotic. It was a bad transistor in the filter section. This guy has NO IDEA what he's doing. I would not advise anyone to take anything to him! |
BEERS 'n GEARS | I called to see if they could fix my subwoofer, and he was not listening to me. He wasn't answering my questions. Poor customer service. I am having a hard time finding a shop to fix it, and the only shop willing has poor customer service. |
