| salah shaibi | I went to this place to do and oil change and than after I left I realized my oil was leaking and I took my car to a mechanic and checked everything and he showed me that they cross threaded the drain plug so I had to drive an hour away to go back to Alex and than I told him I did my last oil change with him and after he did it it started leaking and showed him the receipt he still said that it's not him than we kept arguing and he said he's gonna change the threads for the oil pan and he still charged me 50 and he said he's gonna fix it and it's gonna be good so he did whatever he did than after few days it started leaking again .. I didn't wanna go back there no more I I bought a new oil pan ..there very shady I advice you guys not to go there |
| Barbie Ribbes | Stranded on I5 and called a place to see if anyone could do a repair on my vehicle same day. I imagined it would be hard to find anyone to accept additional work on a Friday afternoon. I was referred to Alex's. After speaking with them and telling them the problem I had of a radiator hose being blown, they agreed they could not only do the work that day but would wait for me to be towed in. The lady who works in the office gave me her personal cell phone so i can send them a picture of my blown hose and they could make sure they could get the parts that day. As the afternoon wore on, I became fearful that they would not stay open because it was taking so long for a tow truck to come get us, and we were still at least 30 miles away with possibly going out of our way by 10 miles on the freeway due to the desolate area. The lady assuaged my fears that they would still be there for us. By the time we got there it was almost 5PM and the sun was going down. They immediately looked at our vehicle and found that the water pump had also blown Alex showed us. There was no way the repair could be done that day. Alex had to drive 30 miles to locate the part on Saturday and agreed to come in early to get the work done and get us back on the road which he did. He quoted us a fair price which we agreed to. The price did not go up even though I think he could have charged us for a diagnostic on Friday. The lady at the counter was so friendly she thanked US. We were back on the road and no problems! I would recommend this place! |
