| Merridee Caruso | Awful experience. Called as our dryer drum had a crack. We were pricing a new drum versus a new dryer. When we called we asked to have a technician call back so we could make an informed decision. A technician called back and stated the drum would be 300.00 give or take 50.00. We were aware a new dryer was between 700 - 900.00 so it made sense to have a new drum installed. When the technician arrived at the home to officially validate the need for a new drum he proceeded to say that indeed we needed a new drum but it was 525.00. Of course it cost 65.00 for the 30 second evaluation. This was pure and simply a "bait and switch" as they new if we told it was over 500.00 we would not have them come out. What a racket! Avoid at all costs! When we called back to complain they denied even talking with us but they did acknowledge they had our contact information in their system! We had never contacted the company prior to yesterday. As a second home we have never even had an appliance person at our home. BEWARE! |
