Lisa Palin | DO NOT PURCHASE AN APPLIANCE FROM THEM - I purchased a used refrigerator. Within 3 weeks the freezer stopped freezing so I contacted them to come out to repair as it was under their 30 day warranty. She informed me that I would need to bring the refrigerator to them or pay a service fee. I pony'd up the 30 fee and they came out completely unarmed to fix the problem promising to come back in a few days. After not showing up for the next appointment, I called again and was told they were at my home and no one answered. I have 2 dogs and I work from home almost every day. I was home. They came back the next day and claimed it needed a freon charge. Charged the system. It is now 4 months later and the refrigerator is doing the same exact thing. I had someone else look at it not a tech that pointed out the caked on mess on the coils that had been there for years most likely, never cleaned before they sold it to me. I have received and education regarding purchasing used appliances at this point and will do more research in the future. I have a technician coming today to look at the fridge and see if it is worth repairing. |
