Brendan Kirsch | DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! 3 kids and we were without a washing machine for 5 weeks because these techs have no idea what they're doing and customer service is nothing short of terrible. We filed a claim with our home warranty company for a broken washing machine and they selected AVA Appliance Repair as the company to fix it. It took them a week to get a tech out. When he finally arrived he diagnosed the problem as an issue with the mother board. He ordered a part that took another week to arrive. Then it took them another week to get back out to fix it. Hours after the tech left, the washing machine was still not working. Called another company to come in and look at it and the problem was the drain pump. We called the home warranty company who put us back in touch with AVA to come back out to fix. They refused to do so, saying we should just "get another opinion". When I explained that we had and it was the drain pump - I asked to speak to a supervisor and the lady on the phone told me "the supervisor refuses to speak with you and it would be better for you to go with another company" and hung up. They are absolute hacks. Just look at the reviews here, tough to get a 1-star on Google Reviews unless your service is really really bad. It is. |
Rick Cookemboo | My warranty company dispatched this company to my house to examine my dishwasher that was not heating up and drying the dishes. The kid comes out and says, "try using rinse aid, that should help" of course it didn't so I did a recall through my warranty company. The kid comes out and says, "it needs a mother board and heating element". He tells me there is no additional fee because it was a recall. The business office calls me and tells me I have to pay another 60 trade fee. I told them this was a recall and I'm not paying it. They sent me a letter telling me that they will turn me over to a collection agency which they will pay more to do than just eating the bill. It turns out the technician told the warranty company it was two different issues, I guess using Rinse Aid is an official diagnosis that takes many years of schooling to officially diagnose. I was told by several people this company does this intentionally to get an additional 60 from customers. I work for Maricopa County, I have contacted the AZ AG Office, the BBB and put this company on our bulletin board so the 15 thousand employee know not to use this dump. |
