This repair guy was sent thru my warranty service. I just move into a newly purchased home. The dryer was taking too long to dry. The guy show up and says it's because I have to pull the dryer out away fro the wall every time. I did not think that was an acceptable ans. Different type of vent? Shorter vent? No he does not take care of vents.he did not unhook vent to clean it.

That Slava is a tricky one. If you fill out their online form for a 10 discount, not only will you not see a discount but you are guaranteed to have them show up. I unfortunately read these reviews after filling the online form out. I was called in a timely manner and originally got a quote over the phone for 130 for a replacement ice maker and 99 to install it. I said I would think about it, but then called another repair business because of the reviews. Slava showed up and when asked if he was with the second repair business I called, he said yes. It wasn't until I saw the top of the work order that I realized this was actually SN Appliance and now my bill was somehow 302. Since the ice maker was already installed and I recalled the other reviews, my decision was to just pay the amount to get him out of my house. Buyer beware with this business for sure.

Today Slava showed up to help us with our dryer. The dryer was not heating up properly. After taking apart the dryer and finding out the issuethe heating element he quoted us a price of 274.18 for the repair. While having a few similar parts pulled up on my computer, I asked him how much the part itself cost, and he told me 130. He also told me that the parts on my computer were nothing like the part that we needed. I also asked him how long it would take him to repair it and he said about 30 minutes. This means that the remainder of the cost would be 144.18 for labor. At that rate, the cost of labor would have been 288 dollars an hour. I told him that I would not pay that much, but wanted to negotiate. He refused, so I asked for the 75 deposit back, and he charged me a 70 diagnostic fee that was not discussed beforehand; I got 5 back from him. I found the exact part on Amazon for 35. He was dishonest about pricing, and charged an arm and a leg for labor. I will be fixing it myself for a total of 104, including Slava's 70 diagnostic fee. The part number is 8577441 heating element for Whirlpool Cabrio dryer.
