Appliance Repair by Smith’s Sewer Drain Cleaning Repair Service and Remodeling in Heflin, Alabama

The owner, of this company, and I use the term, “company”, loosely, Kenny Smith and his wife literally stole 155.00 of my money for parts not ordered and work not completed.. they tried to extort additional funds out of me but, I caught on to their scam before they could... DO Not use this company for anything!! They are incompetent, unprofessional, and, unethical. He came to my home to repair my hot water heater and coincidentally found a “gas leak” under my home. This frightened me terribly because my grandchildren live with me as well. He and his wife both assured me we were safe and that Kenny could and would fix it. That night was a living hell for me as I thought of nothing else but that we were living in an unsafe home. All of their reassurance that we were safe really did little to ease my fears. A couple of days later, they appeared at my home to repair the hot water heater, and told me he'd just fixed the gas leak under the house. I didn't see him do it, but they both said that he had. Now, it dawned on me that Spire gas had just been out prior to Kenny Smith, on 3 separate occasions within a weeks time to light the pilot on my water heater, the technicians did an exterior and interior perimeter check and gave my home a clean bill of health, no gas leaks. They would not have allowed me and my grandchildren to stay in the home at even the slightest of gas leaks. This was confirmed by management at Spire. Kenny and his wife still maintain he fixed a “gas leak”, yeah, a non existent gas leak!!! I checked with the Calhoun county board of licenses and found out Kenny Smiths license lapsed in 2014!! I attempted on several occasions to settle with him regarding taking my money for parts he did not order and incomplete work on my hot water heater, but, he just double talked and ignored my request for reimbursement...I had been out of hot water for 2 weeks, boiling water on the stove for baths and washing dishes. These people sensed my desperation and saw a woman not knowledgeable in plumbing and seized the opportunity to pull a scam!!! his next attempt to swindle someone with his double talk and lies will be in front of a judge after I sue him in small claims court!! Shame on you and your wife for stealing and scamming a woman on disability out of her money..you 2 should be ashamed of yourselves!!' I'd be willing to bet this isn't the first time you've done this!!

Great at what they do. Do not charge as much as others.
