Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Foley, Alabama

We had a difficult issue with our Cub Mower but the technicians found the problem and corrected it to our satisfaction. Thank Goodness they don't charge the diagnostic fee but once until it is clearly understood what is wrong. Thank You.

My Kenmore Elite REFRIG went on the blink. Water was running out of the Ice and water dispenser. I found a puddle n the floor. Called Sears repair service. After a lengthily phone conversation. They set up an appointment with the repair service to come out and see what was the problem. The service technician was prompt and very friendly. The out come was the computer which this is considered the mother board was bad. So he ordered a new mother board. Only that was going to take about 3 to 4 weeks to receive the part. In the mean time I called the main warranty dept. and they informed me that I had to options either one was to receive a new refrigerator. One was to go and rent another refrigerator until mine was repaired, or they would give me 218 rewards points. I then could go and buy a small refrigerator. I opted for the second one. Went and bought the small refrigerator and guess what. The points had not been posted yet. So I paid with my money. and now the points are still on the card. Which I was told that I can only use them purchasing anything from Sears. Well I was very disappointed. There is no local Sears store here. Anyway It was exactly 1 month. The part came in. The service man came out and replaced the mother board with the new one. The refrigerator is back working again. I always love the Kenmore appliances. They have been good ones. Now I am concerned that this might happen again. Which means I have to keep renewing my extended warranty. Not happy about that. As for the Service tech he was efficient and knew his stuff. Though getting the appointment set was a problem, the repairman was excellent
