| Joan Nicholas | Our ice maker wasn't working so we called Mr. Appliance. The work was quickly scheduled and the technician told us that we needed the water valve replaced for a total diagnostic, part & labor cost of 279. It was certainly higher than expected for an hour's work. One day later, no ice. The tech returned two days later to adjust the ice maker, but still no ice. We asked a 3rd time to have it fixed but were told over the phone that we needed a new ice maker at an additional cost of 160!! Needless to say, we declined because Mr. A had lost our trust. What is most frustrating is that I emailed the company with our concerns and filled out the requested online satisfaction survey but nobody contacted us. Take the "one year guarantee" with a huge grain of salt. |
