Beth DeBiase | I had a scheduled service for 11/1 from 8-5. I informed the person that I would not be home, but someone in my house would be. He contacted me and told me he would be there in 15 minutes. 50 minutes later, after a chat with the online person, I received a reschedule for 11/15. I cancelled. 14 days later to have my dryer fixed? No thank you. Unprofessional, lack of communication. Darryl has a rating of 4.3 so I was hopeful. I even called him to tell him there was payment waiting for him at my house. No return call, oh well! I'll pay a ma and pa shop! |
Nicholas Jacobs | If I could rate Sears Appliance Repair less than 1 star I would. I just got off the phone with their Customer Solutions Center the team you deal with to make a complaint regarding severe damage the Sears Technician caused to the appliance he was there to fix. The Sears Technician was not only rude to my wife since she was home during the appointment, but also caused more than 20 chips, nicks and scratches to the appliance in the area he was working. The damage was not noticed until I inspected the appliance after the work was completed and Sears' Customer Solution Center seems ironic because the representatives I had the displeasure of speaking to were not concerned with finding a solution was not willing to do anything about it. The Sears Technician that performed the work was clearly incompetent and had no concern with performing a quality, defect free repair. It's bad enough Sears employees unskilled technicians, but to add insult to injury, Sears doesn't stand behind the work their employees perform. The supervisor I last spoke to said there is no one else I can escalate this issue to and that my only recourse would be to write a letter to the Sears Home Office. Customer service truly is dead and based on my experience, it is not a surprise Sears is going out of business and I hope they do. I will never step foot in a Sears not that I have since I was a child again, allow them to provide service of any kind, or recommend Sears to anyone. Below are a couple pictures of the damages, I have already touched up the areas, but the chips, nicks and scratches are still clearly visible. |
Paul Belmont | Repairman showed up without needed part. Total waste of money. Probably not his fault. He ordered the part for me but it has not arrived yet. |
