| Paul Rexroth | ACS Inc. had installed two evaporative coolers for me in 2008, they were expensive, 2500 apiece, but seemed worth the price, they included recirculating pump, winter sheet covers and one winterizing service. I was told that the recirculating pump and the winterizing service was required to maintain the warranty on the pads. I ordered a third cooler in 2015, assuming that all of the conditions were pretty much the same as before, BUYER BEWARE! The unit was installed so close to the roof that I can't service it, no recirc pump was included, winterizing service was not included, the installers gouged divots in the roofing. I paid for a winterizing service. The tech said that luckily he had very small arms and could get under the unit to service it, and said he would ask the manager to call me about raising it. No call. I called and asked for the manager and was told that he would call back. Two more calls and no return. Bad installation and terrible followup! |
