shari christopher | My mom had Clayton's install a wall mounted a/c unit last summer and had a terrific experience. I even recommended them to multiple people which resulted in at least two jobs. Not a year later, after my mom had passed away, the unit started to leak water down the inside wall. I called, they came out, told me the condenser outside was clogged with cotton and the main drain was clogged, they cleaned out both and I paid 219. One week later the unit started leaking again, the exact same way. I called Clayton's early Mon morn and asked to have someone come out before Thurs when the house was being put on the market. I was told that would not be possible. I admittedly got a bit frustrated and was transferred to I believe the office manager Connie? She became quite rude very fast, even after I explained the situation. She told me she "could not justify paying a tech OT in this situation " and hung up on me. Well we had to block all showings for Friday morning and a very nice tech came out. He showed me that the drain tube was left too long when the unit was installed and I made the comment "well, your company did the installation " and he just said "I know but it wasnt me". So we paid over 200 for a service call that did not address an issue that should have been installed correctly from the beginning. I have not been reimbursed or sent an apology. I will not be recommending this company any longer. |
Scott Baker | I was very pleased with the furnace service I received from Clayton's. The tech arrived on the day promised and quickly diagnosed the problem with my dead furnace. We both agreed a new unit was needed, and he returned in two days to do the installation. The new appliance has been working for 2.5 months without issue. I would use this company again. |
