James Allen | ABM is a top notch organization. We've had great folks come out to our business every time we call. Highly recommended! |
Eric Hann | We started having drastic water pressure problems that 2 people could not use the water at the same time. This was a major problem since we own a small B&B and need water pressure for all of our guests. We did not know what the problem was since for the 6 years previously, we never had such low water pressure. An ABM mechanic came out and told us that if our water pressure is at a certain level at all times, then a booster pump would work just fine for our problem. Obviously we did not know what the pressure had been, but we trusted ABM to figure everything out and give us advice as to what to do. Apparently, no one from ABM checked what our water pressure was. The mechanic gave us a quote and let us know that the booster pump would go on the basement wall near our filtration system. When the time came to install the pump, 2 other mechanics came while I was not at home and installed the pump on the basement ceiling right in front of the basement window, leaving the window completely inaccessible. We used the pump for 2 days and found that the booster pump did not help with the pressure at all. A mechanic came back to check what was wrong and found that our filtration system was clogged causing the water pressure problem. We had the filtration system taken care of, and there was no more need for the booster pump since our pressure was back to normal. We asked ABM to come and remove the pump and to take it back. We were willing to pay for all the labor that was incurred putting the booster pump in and taking it out as long as we were not charged for the pump itself. ABM would not work with us...even though they never properly looked into why our pressure was so low. They just went and installed it without doing their own research into our problem. At this point we are stuck with a brand new booster pump and a bill for over 3000.00!!! All because of someone not checking into the true problem in the first place. |
chris robbins | We own a summer house but live out of state. Every year, it seems, we have to call ABM to come at short notice while we are there for a weekend getting the house ready. They are always prompt. Then while the house is being rented, they respond quickly as well. Last year the tenants noticed a sewage leak, and ABM came on a weekend to look at it. This year it was a weekend again when the tenants reported a leaking water heater and they came right away. Both times they fixed the problem on Monday. I don't know what we would do without them. |
