Appliance Repair by Orville’s Home Appliances in Amherst, New York

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer and all went smoothly in the store. Delivery options were not great as we had to wait 6 days for delivery. Upon arrival, the dryer that I purchased came off of the truck severely damaged. It looked like it was hit by a truck! The delivery crew apologized and were very accommodating. When I called Orville's to tell them about the damages, the employee never apologized and didn't offer any solutions. I had to ask “what happens next?” The employee should have apologized and did his best to deliver a new “undamaged” dryer the same day or the next day. For anyone who works and juggles life, you understand how difficult it is to be available all day for a delivery. The Orville's employee had terrible customer service skills and offered me additional wait choices of waiting 3 more days or waiting 5 more days for my dryer. They offered absolutely nothing for their error and major inconvenience. I truly don't have an additional 9 hours to wait around all day. I was optimistic about making this purchase from Orville's since my previous experience there had been positive. The only reason why this scored a 1 was because there was no option for 0 stars and the delivery crew were professional. Great prices but TERRIBLE, awful, service... Pay a little more for a professional experience and quality products.

I love orvilles, I've never had or heard of anyone who's had a bad experience here. Everyone I know who has purchased anything from Orvilles has nothing but a great experience to tell! Staff will greet you immediately and help! I wouldn't shop anywhere else for my appliances!

Absolutely wonderful customer service and delivery! Mike our sales rep was amazing and answered every question we had. Delivery was easy and guys were friendly and knowledgeable.
