JAX BEAR | Awesome service and truly knowledgeable in EVERYTHING well and septic related!! |
Matt Zanella | Called them because my sewer grinder pump alarm was going off. Technicians told me the pump was bad and it would be in the 2000 to 3000 range. Once they were back to the shop, I was called by a woman and told the pump would be available the following day for installation and it was now 4500 for the pump, plus installation. I initially told them to do it, but after sleeping on it and doing some research I found the pump available for 2700. I called them back to inquire why they were marking up the price of the pump, and the reply was "we are in the business to make money". I canceled the service and called another plumbing company. This company had to chase over to Maas and retrieve my pump as they took it from my residence without my knowledge or approval this cost me an extra 200 to pay the plumbers to chase it down and bring it back to my house. Once the new plumbers had my pump, they deemed some small parts failed and repaired it for under 500! Apparently Maas didn't know what was wrong with the pump and wanted to swindle me out of 5000. When I questioned the woman at Maas, she was very defensive and rude. I would definitely steer away from using Maas for anything. Even though I had to pay 200 to get another plumber to retrieve my pump from their shop while I was at work, I still received a bill for 150 for the service call when they tried to rip me off.
