125 Diagnostic Fee. My dryer is not heating up. Rep could not give me an estimate on labor with just the heating element replacement scenario. I can safely assume the price for part and markup, about 100. Mentions a job code for techs but was vague on its breakdown. Rep mentions could start at 195 for minor repair. 295 for job.... Seeked a local shop for a lower diagnostic fee.....for this over-sized toaster! I would imagine at least in this day and age, soon to be 2020, that a set of guidelines would be established to fix my over-sized toaster. Just a little disappointed in this industry to get a good estimate.

NO ONE SHOWED UP! Got a murky email from Sears day of appointment that the part needed was “unavailable”. Already knew that and the Tech said would order replacement part weeks earlier at initial appointment. Apparently couldn't obtain but no phone call, no email from Tech. Called the know nothing service center who really couldn't provide any update. Kept asking if I wanted to cancel. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Oh, and BTW, haven't received a refund yet while they cashed my check immediately.

Although I have no complaints about the repairman. I do think a 2 and 1/2 yr old oven shouldn't have it's igniter fail in the 1st place.396.00 bucks later I am in fact back in business. I buy all Kenmore products but I will definitely rethink that on my next appliance purchase.
