Appliance Repair by Sears Appliance Repair in Livingston, New Jersey

Bought a Sears Kenmore Elite high-capacity refrigerator for 3,000. 18 months later, the fridge was warm and the freezer was not freezing. Took 2 weeks for them to come out, and of course it suddenly started working and could not find anything wrong. A few days after the tech left, it started failing again. They came back 2 weeks later and determined it was a failing compressor. They ordered a compressor that took 2 weeks to get delivered, and then another week for the tech to come out and install it. The tech left and it has been 3 days. The fridge is warm, the ice maker does not work now, and the freezer is not freezing properly. It has been over 2 months and we have to go downstairs to the garage to get our food every day from a GE fridge that NEVER fails and it is 11 years old. I sent Sears service an email asking for a new refrigerator to be delivered, and if they say no, I will just have to eat all the money I spent on the fridge and the repairs and buy something reliable. The headache of always wondering if your fridge is working is taking its toll on my wife and 3 kids. I would suggest people buy their appliance from a place like PC Richards who services what they sell.

The repairman was excellent and took the time to explain to me why my dishwasher keeps on having problems and what the solution is.

Two separate people came at the same time. They were quick and efficient. It's required you put your dogs away, and one of the men had a negative attitude towards my dog when I was in the process of putting her away before he showed up. The other man was very nice about my dog. Appliances were moved and put back and one of the men told me how to properly clean my appliances so I didn't have to call a certain company to get it cleaned.
