| Mark Lyons | I usually have good things to say about Lowes, however I purchased a smart thermostat with a gift card. I found out that the thermostat does not work with my current heating system. I brought the thermostat back within 10 days, only to be hassled by the customer service people. I explained my story and they still were not going to return the item and credit me a gift card. Luckily I had a copy of the receipt on my email, otherwise I would have had to keep the 89.00 thermostat. The customer service people acted like I was such a bother to them. I kept my cool, showed them the email receipt and all is well now. Management should probably hire, retrain, or restructure other "helpful" people at the service desk. |
