Kathy T | Fred's Appliance helped me out with my loud, squealing dryer. It took 2 visits since they didn't have the part needed for my specific model. It was easy to order and have it mailed to me within a day. I have a stackable washer/dryer in a very confined utility closet off my kitchen. At the first visit, I pulled the unit out to be more accessible for the tech, Corina. Since she would have to come back a couple weeks later, she oiled the part that was squeaking and told me I could put it back in place and continue using the dryer and that she would still be able to reach the screws needed to take it apart. I had my doubts because I know how tightly it fits in the closet. At the second visit, once she saw it in place and attempted to reach the screws in back, it seemed like an impossible task. Somehow, she made it work and ended up climbing on top of the water heater next to the washer/dryer to reach the screws and take everything apart to replace the part. I was amazed and grateful that she went above and beyond to get the job done. She even brought treats for my dogs. I couldn't have asked for better customer service. I also like the feature that allows you to track your tech's progress in the day to give you a better idea of when they will arrive. And receiving an email confirmation with a picture of the tech assigned to the job is a great safety measure. |
