If you are even a tiny bit considering this company to build your home, RUN, don't walk as fast as you can the opposite direction. Allen Goehrs and Goehrs Builders turned what should have been a great time and experience in our lives into a nightmare. Allen Goehrs is a liar, he is dishonest and doesn't keep his word. We heard every excuse from this man and had to hire an attorney. Our only saving grace was my husband has been in the construction business for many years. We are finishing the house ourselves. I can't stress enough how terrible this company is!!

In February, allen goehrs builder visited my house selling my sister a dream the house of her dreams with the attitude that his company could change the design to match her budget and taste. here it is august and i have been spending my days off after a 60 hr a week job to come make her property livable. in my opinion this incompetent builder with his band of unlicensed employees left her short on funds and a shell house with no water no power after being paid for it . In my opinion think twice before hiring this company .

HOME OWNER BEWARE - I need to warn other home owners about, in my opinion, and in my experience the incompetent, unskilled, unprofessional home builder, Allen Goehrs and Goehrs Builders that I regretfully hired. I hired Allen Goehrs and Goehrs Builders with his assurance he would meet the agreed to completion date and he would only use licensed professional subcontractors. MANY grievances and MANY months later, I fired Allen Goehrs and Goehrs Builders who did NOT meet the agreed to completion date, leaving my home uninhabitable in only the “stud phase”; without insulation, sheetrock, paint, HVAC, sewer, plumbing, working water or electricity! I paid Goehrs Builders to clear my wooded lot and grind tree stumps; his crew did not grind one stump and Allen Goehrs actually had his crew illegally dump the trees and limbs on my neighbor's property. Goehrs continuously used unlicensed unprofessional subcontractors; Goehrs Builders' unlicensed plumber's incompetent work had to be totally redone, costing me thousands. The electrical had to be redone by a licensed professional electrician. The new roof installed by Goehrs Builders' unprofessional roofers leaked all over my new kitchen cabinets waiting to be installed. Also, I am pretty sure the exterior painting should solidly cover the siding, soffits and trim and NOT cover the new windows and new doors like Goehrs Builders' inept, unprofessional painters left my home. These are just a few of my long list of grievances with Allen Goehrs and Goehrs Builders whose reviews online did not reflect the actual horrible experience I had with this company. I am still seeking resolution for the additional out of pocket expense to just finish my home within building codes and standard building practices and reimbursement of uncompleted work and costly defects in the incompetent, unprofessional work done by Allen Goehrs and Goehrs Builders.
