Appliance Repair by Gordie’s Garage in Roseville, Michigan

The technicians and staff members are very professional, and courteous. The turnaround time with my vehicle repair was completed in a timely manner, which also included troubleshooting an electrical problem. They're reasonable and fair with their pricing. I highly recommend Gordie's Garage to everyone that's looking for great service with vehicle repairs.

I did not personally have any work done at the shop, but my mother did. She needed front brake pads and rotors. She took her car here because it was close and she saw it had decent reviews on google. She said all employees were nice and treated her well when she dropped off her car. After receiving a call back from the garage telling her it would cost her 440.20 to replace only the front brake pads and rotors she told them ok, because she needs a reliable vehicle and she has to be able to get to work. She then called me to tell me what was going on. I told her that was obnoxious and that she should call them back and tell them to not do the work. She called back and was told work was already started. I asked her for the number and I called to ask why they could not simply give her the car back, since they had to diagnose the problem anyway. I was then explained too, that if i wanted the car back I would have to pay the labor price of 119.99 to put it back together with the original parts as long as none of them were damaged. At this point I was not going to argue because if i would have paid that labor price and took the car somewhere else it would have cost even more money. The reason for my review, is that I feel that she was taken advantage of. I was able to get quotes from 2 other places who only quoted 210 to 250 dollars for the exact same work. Upon picking up her car my mom told me that they apologized for getting into it with me over the phone and gave her a small discount which brought her total down to the 390 range. Which I feel is still over priced.

Very impressed! From the really clean lobby to the free transportation. I'm so glad I chose Gordie's Garage! I was sent a text message showing me the 34 checkpoints- WITH PICTURES that had been looked at. Very fair and reasonable prices. I won't be going anywhere else!!
