Brooklyn McCue | We bought a tv from Best Buy last spring with the geek squad protection plan AND purchased a warranty. It broke in August, it is now December and our tv still isn't fixed. Twice, the geek squad went to the wrong address. Twice they brought the wrong parts and my tv wasn't able to be repaired. Once, the parts they ordered in came in broke and they made us wait another 4 weeks for new parts. That's FIVE TIMES we've had to reschedule and each time we've had to wait weeks for them to be able to get back to us again. FIVE MONTHS our tv has been broken and every time I ask the techs if they can just replace the tv it's still under warranty they say no that LG won't allow them to do that. THEN WHAT DID WE PURCHASE A WARRANTY FOR?????!!! I am never buying an LG tv again nor using Geek Squad or purchasing their plans with a new device. I am beyond displeased with their service. |
Jackie W | I recently went to Geek Squad on Morse Road to have a phone repaired. I was informed by Kat that my warranty would cover my phone and I needed to schedule appointment. Once I returned the next day for my appointment another Geek Squad employee informed me that she gave me incorrect information. This is the second time I have received incorrect information from this employee. Geek Squad was not helpful or apologetic for Kat insufficient knowledge. I would not recommend Geek Squad to anyone. Poor customer service. |
