Appliance Repair by The Home Depot in Grand Chute, Wisconsin

I like The Home Depot for the most part, other than their prices being a bit high in the Amazon Era and the Husky brand price has skyrocketed in the past 5 - 10 years. But I had to take 2 stars off for this trip because I walked around the store for a good 25 mins and past several employees before anyone asked me if I needed help finding anything. One employee walked past me 4 or 5 times as I was obviously having a hard time finding what I was looking for.

I stopped here because I needed a fitting to hook up my mom's dishwasher. Originally I had gone to Menards where apparently nobody worked in the plumbing or adjacent areas. So I stood around for an hour rifling through the 7 billion different plumbing fittings that exist until finally an employee from a completely different department came over and helped me look for the correct fitting. We never did find it but the employee thought she had figured out a combination of fittings that would work. She was wrong. It did not even remotely work. So the next day I went to the home depot where within about 5 seconds somebody came to help me and we got the correct fitting all within a couple of minutes. It would appear Menards is the Wal-Mart of home improvement stores and the home depot is the Macy's.

Tried to return a unopened Milwaukee vacuum with the receipt that was purchased with a gift card. After talking with my wife I decided I wanted a different Milwaukee vacuum that was only available on their website, so I just simply wanted to return the one I bought and get the money back on the gift card so I could go home and buy it online. However even with a receipt and unopened box they would only offer me a in store credit which you can not use online After 20 min of arguing with the manager I stormed out never to return to this specific home depot! This was not the first time I have had issues at this specific location.
