Joey Kaspar | Long story short, I paid 900 for custom blinds, never received them, and can't get a refund. Details of experience: I ordered custom blinds from this store, paid the deposit, and got our windows measured. At that point they asked us to go to the store and pay for the blinds because they had to be custom cut. I went to the store, and they tried to charge us triple the quoted cost even though I brought in the paperwork showing otherwise. After an hour we left without paying. We came back the next day in hopes of finding someone more competent, and it took another hour to pay for the blinds AND convince them that they had already measured our windows. I was told the blinds would be ready in 10 days. 14 days later I call, and am told I hadn't paid for the blinds yet. I bring in the receipts and paperwork, only to be ignored after repeated requests to have someone sent to the flooring/blinds dept to help me. I leave after waiting 45 minutes, and try calling later that day. I was told over the phone they found my order and the blinds are there. I leave immediately to pick them up, upon arrival the sales associate tells me they were left outside in the rain and they're checking them for rain damage-- they said they'd call me when its ok to pick them up. The next day I call and follow-up. They tell me I can come pick-up my blinds. I go to the store the same day, and then the sales associate tells me they're in Houston and they'll be at the College Station store in 3-5 days. I've been calling every day since b/c at this point I'm on a mission, and still have NOT received the blinds. I complained to managers, but they refused to give me a refund b/c "the blinds are on the way." So basically they stole 900 from me. I'll update this review if I ever receive my blinds. |
JacobAnna Biswell | Jacob in flooring is great guy - but Home Depot is an absolute mess and they are unclear on everything. I am a detail person - I ask a million and one questions and they still didn't clarify. We signed up for the 0 interest and they still charged us 22 interest and their installation company is absolute junk! |
