| Barry McGuire Music | The repair was completed and the washer now works again. My low score is for the poor scheduling practices by Sears. When I phoned the service line I told them the problem and included the error code. I also provided the model info for the washer and failure details. Instead of passing this info along, a tech showed up not knowing any details, he took 2 minutes to look and decide a part needed to be ordered which we already knew. I was charged 80 and had to wait 5 more days for the part to arrive. I could have ordered the part myself for 28 and had it delivered in 2 days. Then we had to wait for another open slot for the tech to come back. We were without a washer for the better part of 2 weeks. I'll never use Sears Appliance Repair again. This lack of professionalism was unacceptable and a horrible experience. |
