Cole175 | Technician Eddie showed up to my house, I answered the door..he said "you're having a problem with your refrigerator" as he breezed past me and walked right into my house. No name given, no mention of the company he worked for....nothing. So I said to his back as he was walking through my house "what's your name?" He says Eddie. By this time he's standing in front of the unit. He then pulls the fridge door open like he was inspecting it for cleanliness or something....closes the fridge door and opens the freezer. Clearly NOT looking for any problems with the unit. This guy was so RUDE. He proceeds to tell us that the filter in our fridge was an off brand and that was why the unit wasn't working . He tells us where to go to buy the "correct" filter and gives the model we should purchase. Guess what, the filter we had was not an off brand filter nor was it the incorrect model. We basically purchased a filter we already had but still had a fridge not dispensing water. We basically gave Eddie of RD Appliance Service 125+tax for NOTHING. Total rip off and absolutely no customer service provided. Eddie's attitude was the worst I've ever encountered during a service call and trust me, as a homeowner, I'm no stranger to service technicians. I even called the office to complain about him but nothing of substance came out of that phone call. |
