The reason I gave your company a 2 star is that Glenn did try to help. I came into your store during your Black Friday sale I purchased a range and refrigerator. I very happy with my purchase. The first refrigerator ordered was to small. That part is on me. Called to return refrigerator only. Came back in on my next day off only to find out that my whole order had been canceled. Started over again. The next 2 refrigerators sold to me were discontinued. Every time I called I was told my range was just few more days out. I back into your store on Sunday 12/22 to see what was going on. I never really got an answer to when my range due. Glenn tried to help and sold me another refrigerator I was underwhelmed with. He called around to find me another range. Apparently wanting my purchases in white is the problem. My name on the invoice should be Jackie but try Jacqueline. Glenn had no problem finding me when I was in your store. |

Jennifer Purcell | Love my new appliances, however getting them was a frustrating experience! We Decided to buy from the store due to how helpful Glenn was when we stopped in over a weekend visit with friends A few months ago. We live about 3 1/2 hour's away from the store And when it was time to pull the trigger we contacted Glenn again. We were told our appliances would be in 10-14 day after our purchase So we were planning our trip down to pick up our appliances....we were contacted and told there was a delay in our refrigerator and that it would be in for sure the following Tuesday...no biggie we thought so we delayed our trip to the following weekend. We booked a hotel for the following Friday night so we could be there first thing Saturday morning. I called Wednesday evening because no one contacted me just to double check on our refrigerator and was told it wasn't there. Glenn was out...so I want to give a huge shout out to Nick for trying to help us in Glenn's absence! Unfortunately we were told it wasn't going to be in for another week. At this point it was too late to cancel our hotel and had to make the trip to pick up three of our appliances they did have in for us or pay for an un used hotel stay. So guess what that meant another trip was going to need to happen. I was notified that the refrigerator was in The following Wednesday and had to make the second trip down by myself without my husband's help because of the delay and timing. I arrived when the store opened at 9:00 am after driving 3 1/2 hours and had to wait an additional hour because they were loading a company box truck with appliances for other customers...which was just an additional irritation to the whole situation! So my frustration comes from the fact that there was no competition for all our troubles....a booked hotel, 7 hours of drive time the first trip, the additional 100 in gas cost along with the second 7 hours of drive time, the hour wait to get the refrigerator once I arrived. In the end was the savings on the appliances we purchased At Dewitt worth it? The savings was minimal at best based on all the hoops we had to jump through and the trouble we had just to get our purchase home. Sad our experience was poor and that there was no offered compensation for our troubles as they knew what we had to go through due to no fault of our own! |
