I have used Central Air and Appliance Service for 17 years for any appliance problems that I have. I also use them for my annual heating and air conditioning check up. I have always been pleased with their responsiveness and efficient service. Recently, my old air conditioning unit lost its Freon charge and the house started warming up 100 degree day. I called Mr. Alex Lopez at Central Air late on Saturday afternoon and he came right out. He discovered a leak in my attic evaporator coil, but managed to get me enough cooling going to tolerate waiting for the part to come in. He clearly explained our options on this repair, as my outside unit was also very old. My wife and I decided to go ahead and have the outside condenser replaced also. His crew came out as scheduled and replaced the whole A/C with a more efficient and quieter modern unit. I was pleasantly surprised when we got the total charges, as it was less than we had expected.
