madison patterson | If I could give less than one, I would. Jeff took advantage of an already terrible situation. He was aware of the make, model, serial number, and problem. He knew our fridge was a closed system when he booked the apt. He came to my house, took the back off, and said he couldn't do anything. 75!!! Then he didn't even put the back panel back on all the way!!!! Booooooo! The one star can be for his office assistant who gave me suggestions and was very nice. |
Jim | I had an unusual problem--my refrigerator would not shut off and it was freezing things. I changed the thermostat but it didn't help so I called Jeff. He came out and spent more than an hour looking at everything but couldn't find a problem--it looked like another bad thermostat. He suggested that he come back the next day with a temperature logger and let it run a couple of days to see what it was doing. He came back three days later and we could see from the data that it just runs forever getting below 20F. The likely cause is a very slow refrigerant leak that is almost impossible to repair since 90 of the coils are inside the side walls and inaccessible. He only charged for one service call after coming three times! I appreciate the fact that he didn't try to repair something and charge for it that is basically not repairable. Happy with Jeff--not so happy with Whirlpool. |
