Bruce Fortson | I have a Kenmore Pro Series double oven. I have had constant problems ever since I have owned it. Sears has been here numerous times, most recently this week. This was the second visit in 2 weeks. The upper oven would beep constantly when you turned it on and never heat up. That had been going on months. Was able to schedule a tech during my holiday vacation for a repair when I could be here. He first said it was the knob assembly. He then took the top panel off and changed his diagnosis when he saw the power board with smoke stains and said that was the problem. Naturally, he didn't have the part, it had to be ordered. We had to leave the power off due to a fire hazard so another 10 days without an oven. The technician came back this week and installed the board. 2 days later we tried to use the top oven and the same problem occurred, beeping and no heating. I called to reschedule a repair on Saturday with no luck. Was told it was not possible since the techs do not work Saturday. So here I am with a broken oven and another missed day of work to get it fixed. To say I am unhappy with my service is a huge understatement. Oh, and by the way, I have a Kenmore Microwave over the range that doesn't work too. The part needed has been discontinued so now I have to buy another microwave. Great job Sears....not!!! |
