Appliance Repair by Denny’s Appliance Sales & Services in Key Largo, Florida

Would rate them less than 1 if I could . I called to have my refrigerator checked because it was not freezing or cooling well. I called this business because I live in Key Largo and always try to give local business owners my business. The service guy arrived promptly and checked my unit. He promptly told me what the problem was compressor and that this company does not do those type of repairs. I was charged 119.00 to essentially be told my unit did not work! I called City Appliance out of Miami. The Technician showed up on time, confirmed the compressor was not working and promptly called Sears to have the part delivered and repair my appliance without charging me anything until the repair is complete! Avoid Denny's Appliance - when I called to discuss with the owner he told me they don't do those type of repairs and refused to refund the money he charged me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!

Friendly, efficient service. Arrived promptly and worked quickly. However, I was charged 200 for a new belt to be put on my dryer. A belt that cost 7 on ebay and less than 20 minutes of work--the cost seemed a bit steep for what it was.

OK, so these are not bad guys, just a bit incompetent. No update calls, no info what so-ever. Weeks and weeks tick by. They do eventually show and and finish what they started.
