Tony Insua | Bicycle 101 saved our Oregon Coast Bike trip! About 25 KM away from Florence, I had crashed my bike. Front wheel totally compromised. Found Bicycle 101 as the nearest shop and called ahead luckily in the direction we were going. We were 1h bike ride away with only 45 minutes left before they closed. Spoke with Tim and explained the situation. Long story short, Tim and his friend stayed 30 minutes after closing to fix me a new wheel. All while laughing and enjoying life. Had a good laugh at my expense but hey, all good and I'm so thankful for Tim. My friend picked up a fresh loaf of bread they liked as a thank you. They're good people at Bicycle 101. Won't forget they helped save my trip! 5 stars. |
C J | Great bike shop. They have everything; road, mt, cruiser, and BMX. Friendly knowledgeable staff, great selection of parts and competitive prices. If you're in need of a bike, parts, or a repair this is the stop. |
Spencer Guzman | On day 3 of the Oregon Coast Bike Trail the group I was ridding with were coming along Florence when I had a major bike issue. With all the construction going on, I managed to hit an object that snapped my rear derailleur in two :/ Lucky for me it snapped yards in front of Tim's shop. I walked in the shop and was greeted by Tim and brought over to his large array of derailleurs. Tim spotted the one I needed and a short while later the service was complete and we were on our way, a huge shout out to Bicycles 101 and Tim!!!! |
