Cori Alonso-Yoder | I was also routed to this company through the manufacturer's warranty. I had the same experiences others expressed including scheduling hassles, failure to return phone calls, and lack of accountability. I have now been waiting almost three months for them to make the repair to my appliance. They were supposed to come today but when I called, the same woman I set up the appointment with told me I was not on the schedule and that I had not talked to her. She refused to acknowledge that she was responsible and offered to reschedule me for a day I would be traveling out of state. When I told her that was unacceptable, instead of offering me another date, or an apology, she hung up on me. I contacted the appliance manufacturer who told me that Apple had already put in a detailed claim for the work and billed the manufacturer almost 350 claiming the repair was complete. Funny since the appliance still does not work and the date of supposed completion was a date no one was home. Thankfully, the manufacturer agreed to set up repair with another servicer that has much better online consumer reviews. I agree that this company is among the worst I've encountered and may even be engaging in fraud by collecting payments for work never completed. I have filed complaints with the BBB, MD Office of Attorney General and FTC to investigate them further. |
Patricia Nabinett | If I could give less than a full star, I would have selected it. This is by far the worst company and customer service that I've ever experienced. Honestly, I don't know how they stay in business. I would never recommend them to anyone and informed Whirlpool and Lowe's that I refuse to do business with them if they continue to have subcontractors like Apple Appl. servicing their customers. I have been attempting to get my Whirlpool Washer fixed since Dec 6, 2013 and today is Feb 14, 2014 and it's still not fixed. Apple misinformed me about the parts being ordered and after 3 deliveries, they finally got all "3" parts delivered to my house only to change my appointment without notifying me twice and making several excuses about not having the right personnel to do the work, etc. The person who answers the phone or should I say, allows the phones to go to voice mail and calls you when she feels like it, lied to Lowe's and Whirlpool several times about working with me to schedule appointments and made promises that couldn't be kept. Yes, Lowe's loaned me a washer, but it was the very bottom of the line Roper and half worked. WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DON'T ALLOW WHIRLPOOL TO ALLOW SERVICING YOUR APPLIANCES TO APPLE APPLIANCES. I'm going to keep digging to find the owner of this company so that I can communicate with him personally. If he cares, he'll clean house and start finding some professional customer service oriented individuals who need a job. Obviously, the ones working for him don't. |
