I like Leroy and there work is great

Terrible experience at this computer shop. He will lie and con you then make you feel like you got a deal. I had a 10 year old HP Pavillon g7 with a cracked shell the plastic bottom of the laptop. On Friday afternoon, I was first priced 99 to replace the hinge and shell and he wrote the price on a receipt before I left it with him. Then he says that the laptop is too old and he could not find the shell anywhere online and he search the country and overseas. So Friday evening he tells me that the laptop could not be repaired and suggested that I traded it in and also pay 160 for another laptop in his shop. He said the laptop was really worth 250 but he wanted to help me out since I am college student. I wasn't sure whether to buy a new laptop so Saturday afternoon, I told my bf and he decided to come to the shop with me and asked Leroy many questions about the laptop, repairs, if the data will transfer from this laptop to another etc. My bf also asked to see the laptop and was completely taken apart. Leroy said my data such as files of papers could not be transferred in any way. So my bf and I decided that it would be best to just keep the laptop how it was since it still worked; the only thing wrong was the crack in the shell. Leroy said the laptop would not be ready until Monday because the technician would have to put it back together. He took the laptop apart before they knew if the part was available to replace!! Monday morning I stop by to check on the laptop and it's open upside down on the counter with a huge blob of yellow gorilla glue over the crack and a bolt through the laptop by the hinge. I did not ask him to do this service but he said that it was fixed and sturdy. But the laptop was still disaggregated and he said the technician would not have it assembled until 3pm. By 3pm, I had not heard from him so I decided to call to see if the laptop was okay. He said the laptop was perfectly put together and he was just updating the laptop another service I did not ask for. Over the phone, he told me that the price would be 55. I had to have cash because his card machine was supposedly broken. I come to pick the laptop up and gave him 60. He starts to count it and says this is not enough. The price for this laptop Is 75. not 55. At the register, he tried to change the price of the laptop and I had to leave to get more cash so I could get my laptop. 75 for a screw, gorilla glue, and updates I did not even ask for. I just asked for the laptop back since it supposedly could not be repaired. After lying about the price, I am wondering if he intentionally damaged my laptop in any way. I only gave it one star because it is required to make a post. Do not come here

THIS PLACE WAS TERRIBLE!!!! If I could give no stars then I would. He tells people that if there are accidents and they further damage the device they will cover the cost of repairs. THIS IS A LIE!!!!!! My friend took a brand new 2DS in there with a cracked top screen this was in the corner and not to severe, she also brought a replacement screen for them to install and after a couple of days they called and said they couldn't fix it. When we arrived to pick it up the top was ruined, the whole screen was broken, the top was bent indented and scratched, and it was snapped in half. Not only that but for some reason they opened up the bottom and snapped the SD card and the reader for the SD card in half rendering the device useless. It could be used with a cracked screen but not with the reader being broken. We asked if this was going to be covered and the man SPOKE DOWN to us and refused to cover it. Apparently not charging us for something they couldn't fix was enough, and that rendered them not responsible for the damages they did. They made my friend cry and were EXTREMELY RUDE. I don't think I have ever heard such disrespect from business personnel before. DO NOT go here! This is a horrible business and they will more likely ruin your things then do their jobs.
