Jose does amazing work! I was worried about trusting him with my shoe repairs given some of these reviews on Yelp, but I decided to try his shop out. I waited till my second shoe repair job was complete before writing this review. I am happy to report that I am over the moon pleased with how Jose has repaired my shoes. For my first repair job, I dropped off three pairs of black suede shoes that needed to be darkened as they had faded. One of those pair needed new heels put on and tips in the front. I also had him replace the heels on a pair of navy suede shoes. He did all of the work excellently. One pair he even came up with a custom fix after I told him every time I took my shoes to another repair place I would wear them three times and need the heels replaced again. He drilled the shoe to put a more reliable heel replacement in. I've noticed the difference since he did that custom fix for those heels. They haven't worn down as quickly. For my second shoe repair job, I dropped off a pair of Fendi boots black and burgundy that needed a good shine and some color updates on the leather part of the heel that was scuffed. I also dropped off a pair of tan pumps that needed to be polished since they were scuffed. Jose did an AMAZING job with the color match. He really has an eye for color. I took these boots and heels to the place close to my office, but one of the workers said he couldn't do a color match for either the boots or the heels since the shoe polish didn't come in the exact color. I asked that guy if he could mix the colors to get the custom color and he said no. The benefit with taking shoes to Jose is that he doesn't respond with a reason why he can't do something, he tries to figure out how he can do what you're requesting and responds with his proposed solution for addressing the particular issuess. He is eager to please the customer and get the job done excellently. It's clear to me from my interactions with him that he takes pride in providing good service. I will continue giving him my business!!!

If I could give this store less than 1 star, I would - mostly for their abysmal customer service. I have been taking my Louboutins here for several months often 2-3 pairs per month to get sole protectors + replacement heel tips applied. Because the heels on my shoes are so narrow, I provide the store with heel tips that come directly from the manufacturer and are made to fit my shoes. The last time I dropped off a pair of shoes- I got a call and was told my heel tips which are come directly from the Christian Louboutin manufacturer didn't fit my shoes - and the store would have to charge me extra for replacement tips of their own brand. I brought in several extra heel tips I had from Louboutin, after which the owner told me they could no longer accept these going forward and had to use their own product because it "fit better" and they were "losing money" by accepting my manufacturer tips. Seriously??? Way to nickel and dime customers who are paying them high dollar on a regular basis to maintain very expensive shoes. I will absolutely NEVER go back to this store again and would not recommend it to anyone.
