The serpentine belt had come off due the idle pulley seizing up. To make a long story short, parts were on order before we got our rental car that Friday, and it was repaired before we came back thru the following Monday. They even threw in a proactive repair by changing out the tensioner pulley as it was discovered to be on its way out too. This saved us from another breakdown situation we just experienced.
