Jonathon Mote | I have been an off and on customer with Petro for close to 15 years. I'm off now permanently. I recently had a service tuneup 169 and after it was done the furnace had a strong oil smell when it ran. I contacted Petro to come back and do the job right. The new technician was nice and showed me a couple of things that the first technician didn't do and should have. However, he didn't tell me at the time that he replaced a nozzle and a strainer to the tune of 190 I only learned when I received the bill by email. And the kicker: it still smells like oil. Goodbye for good Petro. |
Barney Doan | If the actions of this driver is an indication of the company, I would not endorse them. The driver of this Petro vehicle -- 1727 -- taken at noon on January 7, failed to yield to oncoming traffic, proceeding through an intersecting thruway AT SPEED. Not only that, the driver was wearing audio headphones while driving. Last I checked, it's a violation of MD law. I cannot endorse a company who allows such unsafe driving practices, especially coming through an intersection right in front of a child daycare center! A suggestion to Petro: place a contact number so that drivers might report such poor driving to the company. This is unacceptable. |
Shantel Williams | The customer service representatives are very nice and very professional. I am, however, upset with the service I have received thus far and I've been a customer for all of 2 months. I've never had oil heating before so this is new to me. I set up my account in November. Unfortunately it was when I ran out of oil and didn't know. I set up my account and had an emergency supply delivered. That was fine. I was told that my delivery to fill my tank would come the next day. That didn't happen. I called and was told the delivery would be the day after the first day I was told. Guess what??? That didn't happen either. I called again and had another emergency delivery. I was then told my delivery would come the next day. Well guess what didn't happen? My delivery came 4 days and 2 emergency deliveries later. I learned my lesson and requested my next delivery BEFORE my tank was empty and guess what? I've been waiting 5 days so far for my delivery. I've called and each time was told the delivery would be the next day. No one can seem to tell me why the delivery hasn't come. I haven't been able to speak to a manager because the reps can't seem to tell anything. I'm getting tired of calling. I don't think I'll remain with this company after this year. |
