My first time doing business with Michael and Sons. I was very impressed with the technician Isaac that came to my home. The appointment was scheduled between 12&2 and I got a call early asking if he could come sooner. Upon arrival he put his shoe covers on and proceeded to do the system tune up. Everything checked out okay inside air handler pressure was good and unit was working properly . He asked how the heat pump was working and I informed him that the unit had stopped working. Granted there was a diagnostic fee for troubleshooting the issue, but it was still cheaper than another company's website I looked at. At first he thought it might be the compressor, but upon further inspection discovered two components that needed to be replaced. After the replacement, the fan wasn't working and he had to reach out to one of the guys at the shop to help troubleshoot the problem. It took them awhile, but they discovered some wires connected wrong. Instead of getting impatient and telling me I needed something I didn't, Isaac and the tech on the phone stuck with it until the unit was fixed. So far the 21 year old heat pump is working perfectly and the cost was a lot less than a unit replacement hoping it doesn't come to that. Isaac was man enough to admit he was having trouble figuring it out and got the help he needed. For now I'm satisfied with the work done and will see how it goes if I have to call on them again. Jon is a dear friend of ours and today on his way home in the work vehicle, he noticed that I had been struggling trying to put my mailbox back up after someone hit, dented it and ripped it off while I was at work. He pulled in and fixed my mailbox no questions asked. No hesitation. He recommended his company early last month after our pipes burst for the fourth time and he assisted in shutting the water off immediately. We contacted Michael & Son and they sent Jimmy Ferrell, who was extremely well versed in his profession. Jimmy explained everything to us on a level that we could understand. He was very thorough with all of his work and we couldnt be any happier with Michael & Son. Additionally, we were able to start a payment plan, making all of our plumbing replacement affordable. Requested routine septic pumping. Appointment was scheduled quickly, technician arrived at appointed time and called prior to coming out. Job was completed in a workman like manner at a fair price. Area was clean and restored to normal conditions after job completion. Technician was very friendly. I will be calling Michael and Son for my next routine septic pump-out.
