Robin Catalano | Truly awful customer service. I called on a Monday to set up an appointment for a mandatory Geico photo inspection -- a 15-minute job. I was told the earliest available appointment was that Friday at 11am. A few days later, my mother went into hospice, and I called to explain this, and ask if they could please move up my appointment so I could drive out to see her, 3 hours away. The owner said "Sorry to hear it" but refused to move up my appointment. The day of the appointment, I arrived on time and waited for 10 minutes in the reception area. When no one came in to help, I called the main number and got the owner, who told me he needed 15 minutes or so to finish what he was working on. I reminded him that I had an 11am appointment and that my mother was in hospice and I'd appreciate anything he could do to help. He said, "If you need to leave, you should" -- never mind that the photo inspection needed to be completed in order for my insurance to, you know, cover my car. It took another 10 minutes for him to come out, and 15 minutes more to complete the inspection. I left the station at 11:40 -- 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. My mother passed away when I was halfway into my drive. Thanks a bunch, Godfroy's. |
Bill Burton | I am fairly new to the area, but I must let everyone know that I am blown away by the expertise and professionalism of Bud Godfroy at his service station. I'm no kid; I've dealt with hundreds of service and repair centers with dozens of vehicles. As a transplant from Mass, I was skeptical about finding a trustworthy and dependable repair person. It is immediately apparent when you meet this low key, confident man that he knows exactly what he's doing. I've had numerous maintenance and repair procedures done at his shop, and the results have been flawless. If you're looking for fast and cheap, this isnot the place to go. But if you're looking for peace of mind, knowledge that your vehicle has been made safe and confidence that you've recieved the best care possible, then go see Bud! |
