Ray Nick | Have not had work done for me. I'm two weeks away from getting my shoes back. I saw some of his work tho and it is amazingly exact. |
Jason Mahoney | Emailed Village Shoe maker in Orem about getting my Wildland Firefighter boots fixed. I was in the middle of the fire season and the seams on both of my boots on the inside blew out. They told me to bring the boots down and they could "absolutely" fix it. Drove a half hour down on my day off, and they told me it couldn't be done, and that "hope you didn't drive too far". Called around and a gentlemen named Don Roundy told me to bring them to him and he could fix them guaranteed. Took them in, he told me to come back tomorrow. Returned the next day, boots were fixed, and back on my feet ready for the next fire. Don went the extra step to fix these boots to ensure I was taken care of. This isn't a negative review on Village Shoe Maker, they just couldn't help me I guess. Don Roundy has my business no questions asked. |
Robert Roundy | Wonderful shop owned by a talented leather worker. He repairs shoes, but also makes saddles and custom boots and shoes. Unfortunately for Salt Lake City, he is relocating to Toquerville Utah. |
