Ann Weber | We bought a very expensive GE range 3 years ago, which was damaged during shipment to us so that only two burners worked. We had paid extra for the GE extended warranty and called about the problem. GE had a local fixit service take a look, but they never followed up. This happened three more times in 2 years with 2 more local services. One repairman said the GE schematics online did not match the range's burner circuitry. He insisted it could not be repaired, period. The last GE contractee we were referred to simply refused to return our polite calls. We gave up. I like to cook, but now I had to get used to only 2 burners. We let that GE warranty expire and we told them why. Last year we enrolled in American Home Shield to cover ALL our appliances and more. When another kitchen appliance conked out, we called AHS, who called Appliance Pros locally. We asked the Pros to examine our range in addition to the other appliance. Dylan at Appliance Pros came out immediately, diagnosed the other problem, then examined our dysfunctional stove. He said it was actually a straightforward fix and ordered a new part. He returned when the part came in, disassembled and reassembled the complex hardware and circuitry, and quickly FIXED THE BURNER! In fact, he checked and updated ALL the burners. It's like having a brand new range, 3 years after we'd bought it. He had no problem with any “online schematics.” The Appliance Pros office followed up with us throughout the process. Any time we called them, the phone was answered promptly by a friendly LIVE person Serena. Dylan himself was unfailingly prompt, responsive, polite, and thorough, and he explained everything. Even out normally wary little dog liked him. Whether or not you belong to American Home Shield which is like the Triple-A of household operation, we strongly recommend the Appliance Pros. They know what they're doing and they see it through. |
Emillie Christi Leon | Worst customer service! They don't care about the customer at all. I would not recommend this company. |
