Appliance Repair by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Waxhaw, North Carolina

I usually love Lowe's, and have no issues with needing help or to find someone.. especially at this location. But today's customer service, or lack of, angered me. I was looking for a new door knob/deadbolt combination for our home Reno. No one helped me on the aisle, but a man came in that had clearly been on lunch and told to to talk to the lady working close by. No problem. I walk over, where she is in a conversation with someone.. so i wait. I realize not long after that they are just chitchatting. Finally someone looks my way and the man, NOT the worker, asked if I needed something. When I stated what I needed.. which was to rekey the lock to fit my Existing key.. I was told by the worker that I could do it myself, and if I had any questions to look them up on YouTube. I was kind of taken back by the fact I wasn't really helped, I was more pawned off to “figure it out myself” so she could continue talking about random stuff to this customer, who clearly was a friend. He apologized to me, but not to worker. Fast forward to checking out, and I go to use my military discount through my husband.. whose currently serving overseas.. and was told it was not accepted. I gave them his phone number, which comes up his name, and I have never had an issue using it in the past. I didn't have my Military ID, which I never have shown in the past, but I had a picture of it.. which she said “uh I need the real thing.” It's not so much that I didn't get the discount as it is the lady at the register never once even looked at me.. she kept her head down and hat over her eyes the whole time. Rudely told me she needed my ID.. again I've NEVER shown it before Handed me my receipt and pushed my merchandise to the side. Next thing I know she's checking out the people behind me. Like I said, I never have an issue.. but clearly today no one there wanted to be bothered at work.

Best deal at Lowe's today, found this 1/2 price bird food deal
