The company said the unit was functioning fine and we needed to add attic insulation. We added attic insulation at the cost of 2,000.... same problem.... HOT HOUSE. We called 3 HVAC companies to quote on a replacement unit. Covington Air was one of the 3. The Covington air salesman said he'd like to have one of their technicians try to fix the unit before we considered replacing it. The technician came out for a 3 hour service call, covered all the bases, cleaned the coils, added 1 freon, etc. and explained everything he did. The service cost 257.00 new unit about 5,000.00. Within 1 hour after the service, we were able to achieve and maintain the desired temperature. We were so happy to finally have a cool house!! Thank you Covington Air!!!! |
