dale r bowser | Service man did not fix the problem. Told me that the wattage of the replacement light bulb was wrong and causing it to stay on. Told me to get a 40 watt light bulb and it would fix the problem. Of course it did not because the wattage of a light bulb has nothing to do with whether it is dimmable. He put the supposedly wrong light bulb back in my microwave and secured it with a screw telling me to get a different wattage light bulb. That meant he left me with a hot light bulb to try and remove. I got the hot light bulb out by wrapping it with non flammable materials and took it back to the store where I purchased the microwave from the lady that sold me the microwave a 40 watt appliance light bulb. She immediately told me that was ridiculous. Which I already knew. Now I have to have another service call for someone who knows what they're doing to replace the circuit board that causes the problem. |
